It is with great saddness to announce that Guthrie's sire, Bar U Champ Binder passed last week. He sustained an injury to his hind leg in the pasture and the tough decision to let him go was made. He lived an awesome life with the Vosslers and he will live on through his offspring and the funny, easy-going personalities he passed on to them.

* In case you didn't know, Bar U Champ Binder, was the first recognized with silver dapple dilution in the American Quarter Horse Breed.

He is going to a GREAT home in Iowa!!!

His new owner, Talia, is also the owner of the only known silver dapple APHA paint mares. She is planning on breeding him to her mares when he is old enough with hopes of a silver overo filly.

In the meantime she will be working on getting his AQHA ROM so he will be able to breed TB mare for AQHA papers. His under saddle career will start at 3 where his primary focus will be dressage with some jumping mixed in for variety :)

This morning I received new photos of Mr. Leo :-)

His owner reports that he is about 56" to his hip ~ 14 h.h. and the following:

Cheetah Update!

Cheetah is progressing beautifully to her due date of May 12. Her udder is enlarging and she is beginning to do the classic tail swishing and holding it to one side.



Her milk or fluid is already white but doesn't register as having any calcium in it. Whew! She is too early still at 313 days today. It does look like her milk is going to do what it did last year in changing several times - white to yellow to white to yellow and back to the final colostrum rich white. I think I am going to go crazy! :)
